Ohaben is a common Russian outwear of XVI-XVII centuries. Long sleeves could keep hands warm in cold weather, as mittens and gloves were not very common. On engravings of this time Muscovites are often depicted with their sleeves down. Can be also worn over the shoulders.

Our ohaben is hand-sewn using sewing methods of the early XX century. Hand-woven vintage cotton, white washed cotton lining.
